This is a career opportunity with an Insurance Agency representing AIA Singapore Private Limited.  The office is located in the AIA Tampines Building.  The duration of the early phase of training is 2 months and a remuneration package ranging between $4,000 to $12,000 will be offered upon successful completion.  This position will provide the Individual the opportunity to be mentored by an industry veteran and grow a team.

The Individual will also be provided with lots of business opportunities via our In-house Lead Generation Campaigns organized by the District.  Our company specialized in Corporate and Business Insurance where B2B sales are involved.

This position is only open to :-

  • At least 25 year old
  • Minimum GCE "A" Level Certificate (with at least 3 passes in H2 subjects and 2 passes in H1 subjects), International Baccalaureate Diploma or Polytechnic Diploma awarded in Singapore
  • Only Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Residence (PR) may apply due to quota limitations

In order to be a Financial Services Consultant, the Individual will be required to pass all Capital Markets and Financial Advisory Services (CMFAS) Regulatory Examinations conducted by the Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) in accordance to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) requirements :-

  • M5 Rules And Regulations for Financial Advisory Services
  • M9 Life Insurance And Investment-Linked Policies
  • M9A Life Insurance And Investment-Linked Policies II
  • HI Health Insurance

The Individual will acquire these soft skills during the course of the attachment :-

  • Individual product and service presentation
  • Group product and service presentation
  • Use Fintech and Digital tools proprietary to AIA
  • Social medial marketing with emphasis on LinkedIn

  • Function between Company and clients
  • Ensuring agency activities and materials
  • Planning all aspects of agency operations
  • Maintain and ongoing liaison with agency committees, agency employees, and associates
  • Ensure that agency meets all contracted obligations
  • Selecting companies and negotiating contracts for agency
  • Assisting in the growth of the agency programs
  • Conduct and participate in agency education activities and staff meetings
  • Develop best practices and benchmarking initiatives to optimize agency relationships
  • Ensuring agency compliance responsibilities and related supervisory requirements are maintained
  • Participate in managing agency production of premium volume in line with company goals
