About the Team

Life Insurance Administration

Our Life Insurance Administration team plays a pivotal role in providing basic financial protection to CPF members via the Dependants’ Protection Scheme (DPS) and Home Protection Scheme (HPS). As a Life Insurance Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic team and contribute to efforts in helping CPF members to protect against the loss of their flats and to have peace of mind.

What you will be working on

As a Life Insurance Intern, your responsibilities will include:

* Procurement of Private Insurer to Administer DPS: Drafting of procurement contracts, conducting briefing to private insurers, and evaluating insurers’ proposals.

* DPS Insurer’s Experience: Providing oversight of appointed insurer’s administration and service delivery by monitoring service experiences and providing timely feedback.

* Claim Criteria Alignment: Collaborating with appointed DPS insurer to review unique cases and establish guidelines to align claim criteria between DPS and HPS.

* Data Analytics: Performing data analytics on system’s records to identify data errors and putting in place controls to prevent future occurrences. To analyse and describe key concerns held by CPF members using the vibrant array of data from past claims, and formulate long-term strategies to aid CPF members in critical moments of their life journey.

* Data Management: Reviewing and safeguarding accurate data records for analysis purposes.

* Straight-Through Processing: Assisting in transforming the claim processing workflow to enable straight-through processing and shorten service delivery to CPF members.

* Operations Efficiency: Assisting in enhancing operational protocols and establishing clear guidelines for reference.

What we are looking for

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

* Available Full time (5 days/week)

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Risk Analytics, Insurance or a related field.

* A strong interest in data analytics, improving operations efficiency and a desire to gain experience in procurement processes and insurance processes.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

* Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team.

* Willingness to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment.

* Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges.
