Responsible for overseeing the organization's technology operations and ensuring that IT systems and infrastructure support the organization's goals and objectives. Lead a team of IT professionals and are responsible for planning, implementing, and managing technology solutions, as well as ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
    • Collaborate with executive management to define technology roadmaps and budgets.
  2. Team Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and helpdesk staff.
    • Foster a positive work environment and facilitate professional growth among team members.
  3. Infrastructure Management:

    • Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.
    • Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
  4. Security and Compliance:

    • Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  5. Vendor Management:

    • Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements to obtain the best value for IT services and products.
  6. Project Management:

    • Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
    • Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
  7. User Support:

    • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
    • Implement and manage a helpdesk or support ticket system.
  8. Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the IT department's budget, tracking expenses and optimizing costs.
  9. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
    • Test and update these plans regularly to ensure IT systems' resilience.
  10. Technology Evaluation:

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organization.
    • Make recommendations for technology upgrades and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Several years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
  • Project management experience and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and hardware.
