Partly remoteResponsible for overseeing the organization's technology operations and ensuring that IT systems and infrastructure support the organization's goals and objectives. Lead a team of IT professionals and are responsible for planning, implementing, and managing technology solutions, as well as ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems.
Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Collaborate with executive management to define technology roadmaps and budgets.

Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and helpdesk staff.
- Foster a positive work environment and facilitate professional growth among team members.

Infrastructure Management:
- Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.
- Ensure the availability, security, and scalability of IT systems.

Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Vendor Management:
- Evaluate, select, and manage IT vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to obtain the best value for IT services and products.

Project Management:
- Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues as they arise.

User Support:
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Implement and manage a helpdesk or support ticket system.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, tracking expenses and optimizing costs.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Test and update these plans regularly to ensure IT systems' resilience.

Technology Evaluation:
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organization.
- Make recommendations for technology upgrades and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Several years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leadership.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
- Project management experience and relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and hardware.
