What you will be working on

As a Manager / Senior Manager of Media Relations, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of communications professionals to develop and implement media strategies to engage CPF members of all ages.
• Develop and implement media strategies to raise public awareness and appreciation for CPF schemes and policies across traditional and online media channels
• Manage day-to-day media requests/enquiries and develop written materials including press releases, Q&A, media brief etc on CPF issues to create a positive resonance with the CPF system
• Build relationships with key media contacts and identify opportunities to proactively pitch CPF stories to shape positive perceptions
• Monitor and track media coverage and ground sentiments to detect public relations issues and address them directly
• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and produce audio
• content that resonate with the public via CPF Board’s podcast channel
• Support and implement crisis communications in a timely manner

What we are looking for
• Possess a good degree, ideally in communications, marketing or journalism
• At least one to three years of working experience in media relations, preferably in the public or financial/insurance sector
• Prior experience working on crisis communications or issues management
• Resourceful with strong interpersonal, communications and writing skills in both English language and Mother Tongue
• Independent and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Sensitive towards sentiments, political and cultural nuances
• Good presentation skills and an eye for detail
